Becoming the Texan Biographer
Inspired by her grandfather's amazing life tales, Rory was driven to find a way to capture life histories in a permanent way. She imagined, developed, and finally launched the “Texan Biographer,” so that she could transform special life memories into a tangible form -- a customized biography that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
Since founding the company in 2003, Rory has worked with people of all ages and backgrounds. Some of the most fascinating stories have included professional athletes, Texan pioneers, Collegiate Hall of Fame inductees, WWII Purple Heart recipients, early Alzheimer's patients, former CEOs, and more.
Her extensively researched interviews help get at the heart of her client's best stories and make sure no detail is left untold. She's always looking for the next captivating story to record!

What is a Professional Biographer?
A professional biographer's work can easily be compared to a movie producer. It is a producer's job to take all of the different pieces of a film, including the actors, scripts, music, and footage, and transform them into a movie.
Rory orchestrates the same type of production with her clients as the stars of their own production - the story of their life. Rory takes all of the poignant stories, photographs, life lessons, family history, and more, and transforms them into a priceless account of their life and times, bound in a beautiful leather book.
